Winston-Salem, N.C. (November 1, 2007)
Nicholas Kottyan, CEO of the technology firm DataChambers, LLC, will share the latest trends in business continuity and disaster recovery planning during a November 9 presentation for the Raleigh/Durham and Triad chapters of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA).
“Having a recovery plan for protecting critical information and reestablishing operations in the event of a disaster is an important imperative for any professional services organization,” Kottyan says. “That’s especially true of law firms, since missing critical deadlines can impact the outcome of important cases. Today there are a variety of best practices firms can adopt to reduce their risk - from backing up email, voicemail and electronic files to establishing remote worksites that can be used if the office is inaccessible.”
DataChambers is a leading provider of business continuity and disaster recovery services. In fact, growing demand led the company to more than triple the capacity of its onsite disaster recovery work center in Winston-Salem this year. The site supports clients whose offices are damaged during a fire, flood or other business-impacting event.
Kottyan’s presentation will be part of the ALA’s Fall Educational Conference scheduled for November 8-9 at Greensboro’s Grandover Resort and Conference Center.
